• Full-time, Day shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized infection prevention and control services within a hospital setting.
• Float between units as needed, including surgery, NICU, cardiac, and critical care departments.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention protocols and policies.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure adherence to infection control standards.
• Document activities and interventions using Epic electronic health record system.
• Participate in hospital-wide infection prevention initiatives and audits.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington or Compact RN license.
• Certified Infection Control (CIC) certification (CBIC).
• Acute care hospital experience across multiple service lines, including surgery, NICU, cardiac, or critical care.
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references within the past three years in a comparable setting.
• Ability to work day shifts with no holidays or weekends required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols in a trauma and pediatric trauma center.
• Flexibility to float between hospital units and sister facilities.
