Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized pediatric intensive care to patients up to 25 years old in a hospital setting
- Monitor and manage patients using epilepsy monitoring, inotropes, and EKG rhythm recognition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care during night shifts
- Complete required assessments and documentation accurately and promptly during shifts
- Adhere to hospital protocols including emergency procedures and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent pediatric-specific RN experience prior to travel
- Valid Ohio RN license or Compact license in hand at time of submission (licenses issued after 1/1/2023 accepted)
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Recent experience (within past 18 months) in pediatric care, including epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years old
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel experience in pediatric ICU or similar settings
- Experience with inotropes, EKG interpretation, or use of specialized monitoring equipment
- NIHHS clearance or related hospital credentialing preferred

Additional Requirements
- Must work at least every other holiday
- Negative 10-panel drug screen and nicotine test within 12 months, with ongoing annual updates
- Fingerprinting and badge processing onsite prior to start date
- Compliance with hospital policies including no non-supervisory references unless specified, and adherence to all credentialing protocols
