Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting for orthopedic and neurological (Level 1 or 2) surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during procedures.
• Participate in weekend and weekday on-call rotations, including extended hours and overnight shifts.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards for high-quality patient care.
• Document patient care and assist with perioperative procedures as needed.
• Support low/mid/high performer expectations, with performance evaluations to ensure standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Prior operating room experience, specifically in orthopedic and neuro surgeries (Level 1 or 2 experience preferred).
• Ability to work scheduled on-call rotations, including weekends and weeknights.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospital.
• Proven ability to manage high-acuity surgical cases.
• Familiarity with hospital ER and OR protocols.
