Schedule / Job Type

• Nights (3x12 Hour Shifts, 19:00 – 07:00)
• Full-time, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the medical-surgical/telemetry floor
• Monitor and document patient progress using telemetry equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Float within scope to other units as needed during shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units
• Valid Virginia or compact state RN license at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be able to make time off requests at the end of the contract; no more than 4 days of RTO per 6 weeks
• Ability to pass background checks and meet all facility requirements (including fingerprinting for ER and Psych candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• VA or compact state licenses in hand at time of submittal
• Experience with hospital-specific modules during orientation

Additional Notes
Candidates should be prepared for initial interview; travel compliance documentation (SSN, DOB, address, phone, email) required at submission. Nurses will receive training modules during orientation, which must be completed by the end of the week. Both travelers and staff must meet the one-year work gap policy before returning as travelers. All candidates must comply with the facility’s policies, including the natural nail policy and fingerprinting requirements.
