Job Title: Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer
Location:
Manchester, NH
Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, 13-week shift (Night shift; 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general, vascular, OB-GYN, and specialized exams.
- Recognize normal versus abnormal findings through knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment such as Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10.
- Document imaging and findings accurately within EMR and PACS systems.
- Assist with procedures like biopsies, drainages, thrombin injections, and OR ultrasound placements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- BLS certification, RDMS credentials, and NH MIRT licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience with diverse exposure.
- Familiarity with sonographic physics, anatomy, and pathology.
- Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Ability to recognize normal vs. abnormal findings and perform various ultrasound procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Additional certifications such as RVT, OB-GYN, or AB.
- Experience in OR and ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Extra year of experience beyond education.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as biopsies and injections.
