Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, full-time (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), days shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients, including trauma, post-surgical, and post-CABG patients
• Monitor and operate advanced ICU equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
• Manage patient conditions with procedures including chest tubes and central lines, medication drips, and other critical interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Document patient status and treatments accurately within the electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or multi-state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably in a trauma or post-surgical ICU
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients such as post-CABG and post-TAVR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC or ATCN certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Familiarity with ICU equipment and procedures such as ECMO and CRRT
