- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, on a 3-day workweek, multiple positions available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients, including head-to-toe assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Administer IV medications such as Lasix, heparin, IVP medications, insulin IV/subQ, and manage infusions
- Perform wound care, including drain management and vacuum-assisted closure (VACS), as well as NG tube, G-tube, and parenteral nutrition care
- Manage central lines including PICC, Hickman, and midlines, along with Foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheters
- Assist postoperative patients with recovery and ongoing care, participating in multidisciplinary rounds and ensuring patient safety and comfort
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and head-to-toe patient assessments
- Experience with IV medication administration and central line management
- Knowledge of wound and drain care, ostomy management, and postoperative protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry certification or previous telemetry experience
- Strong orthopedic care background
- Experience with new medical equipment and technology in a hospital setting
- Ability to float to related units such as Medical-Surgical or Orthopedic units if needed

- Regular staff engagement through monthly UPC meetings
- No required uniform, standard scrubs and closed-toe shoes preferred
- Floating policy includes assignments to like units, primarily Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic units
Note: This temporary travel RN role is eligible for 13-week assignments, offering valuable experience in a thriving hospital environment.
