- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac patient status
- Manage and administer cardiac drips, including Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation
- Assist with procedures involving TR Bands immediately post-procedure
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system
- Float to all acute care units as needed, maintaining adaptability and excellent patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry experience, with hands-on experience managing cardiac drips and TR Band procedures
- Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of Telemetry experience
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
- Experience working in a high-volume cardiac care environment
