Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12s) per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an observation unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical needs during night shifts.
• Document patient progress and care plans accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols, including state licensing and certifications.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• State or Compact License for South Carolina.
• Nursing experience in a hospital or inpatient setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a regular basis.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in an observation or inpatient unit.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Comfortable floating within scope to other facilities if needed.

Additional Notes

• Floating to sister facilities in downtown, Main, and West Campus is required.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and approved based on facility needs.
• Candidate must have SC licensure in hand or be able to complete licensure process prior to start.
• Travelers during hurricane season may be assigned to emergency response teams; flexibility is advised.
