Job Title

• Behavioral Health Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support, and engagement for clients in a structured, safe environment
• Monitor client behaviors, conduct safety checks, and document observations
• Facilitate educational and rehabilitative group activities
• Assist in crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
• Support recreational activities and help achieve treatment goals
• Document client progress and vital signs accurately

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (training available on-site)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) certification (training available on-site)
• 6+ months of experience in behavioral health preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities
• Experience with documentation in electronic health records (EHR-HCS)
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively
