Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency assessment, care, and treatment to ER patients.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize EMR systems to document patient information accurately.
- Perform typical procedures including vaginal exams, patient stabilization, and use of emergency equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all phases of care.
- Adhere to unit guidelines, policies, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 1 year ER experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP and ENPC certifications
- Experience working in a unit with a 4:1 patient-to-staff ratio
- Knowledge of EMR systems such as Meditech
