Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts (days), 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown departments.
• Manage patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond to urgent patient needs, including arrhythmia detection and escalation of care.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State License in hand.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• Recent Cardiac Stepdown experience; travel experience in Cardiac Stepdown acceptable.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Successfully pass background checks, drug screens, and Fingerprint/Background (BCI/FBI) as required.
• Complete relevant onboarding modules prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PCU or Progressive Care units.
• Prior travel or agency experience in cardiac or stepdown units.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems and medication administration.
