• Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining sterile fields and providing instrumentation to the surgical team.
• Ensure proper packaging, sterilization, and handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Monitor and maintain the sterile environment, alerting team members to potential contamination risks.
• Support patient transport, room turnover, and preparation to facilitate efficient surgical workflows.
• Communicate effectively with the perioperative team, participating in Time Out processes, briefings, and debriefings.
• Maintain professional knowledge of new technologies, instrumentation, and procedures within the surgical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or Licensed Surgical Technologist license.
• Current Surgical Technologist license in the state of Colorado.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of sterile and aseptic techniques, human anatomy, and surgical procedures.
• Proficiency with computer skills necessary for online training, documentation, and communication.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with Tier 1 surgical cases.
• Familiarity with operating room protocols and safety standards.
