Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 2 NICU setting.
• Assist with procedures such as umbilical line placement, intubation, lumbar punctures, and circumcisions.
• Monitor and stabilize infants, including vented babies and feeder-growers, following unit protocols.
• Collaborate with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and neonatologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Meditech and other systems.
• Support a team-focused environment within a high-acuity NICU unit.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, specifically Level 2 or higher.
• Experience with NICU admissions and initial stabilization procedures.
• Ability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in EMR systems, specifically CPN and Meditech.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 3 or 4 NICU experience.
• Knowledge of the Eat Sleep Console approach for Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
