Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, seasonal assignment
• 13-week duration
• Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week (3 shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols.
• Collaborate with medical team to assess, develop, and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and utilize advanced skills for sepsis and stroke care.
• Float to other ED units or locations within the hospital system as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
• Minimum of 2 years emergency department experience
• Strong skills in stroke and sepsis management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Hillrom, Stryker, GE equipment, and Lifepak defibrillators
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
