Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Contract, 13 weeks, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, including those requiring advanced life support and critical interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and operate advanced ICU equipment such as IABP, Impella, and Swan-Ganz catheters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic medical records.
• Respond quickly to patient emergencies and conduct procedures like rapid sequence intubation and post-op cardiac care.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH stroke certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma certifications such as TNCC or CATN.
• Experience with post-operative cardiac surgery patients.
• Familiarity with ICU procedures like EVD insertions, thrombectomies, and vasopressor management.
