- Full-time, Days, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Assist with patient evaluations, treatments, and interventions within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- SC or Compact nursing license, in hand prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent SICU experience (preferably 2).
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
- Experience with cardiac and neuro nursing preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience floating between units or sister facilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
