Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Temporary, Travel, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a step-down unit, including monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac rhythms effectively.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.
- Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting.
- Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- NIH Stroke Scale certification or experience.
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical records.
- Prior travel nursing experience.
