Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and prepare reports for physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Document patient responses and progress in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or be eligible for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or cardiac stepdown nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work night shifts effectively.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment, specifically in telemetry units.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
