Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor fetal activity and maternal health using fetal monitoring and other equipment
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, including C-sections
- Maintain accurate documentation in the hospital’s electronic health record system
- Follow hospital policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team including RN, unit secretaries, technicians, and lactation specialists
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- Experience with fetal monitoring and labor/delivery procedures
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Knowledge of hospital equipment such as fetal monitoring systems and IV pumps
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternity units
- Proficiency with C-section procedures and postpartum care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
