Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13 weeks, Days shifts, 4 days per week, 9.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for adult open-heart and endovascular procedures, including TAVR, CABG, valve surgeries, and vascular cases
• Assist with various surgical procedures utilizing advanced OR equipment such as robotic systems, imaging, and hybrid room technology
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during complex cardiovascular surgeries
• Monitor and manage intraoperative patient conditions with precision and adherence to protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records (Meditech) and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or current state of residence
• Minimum of two years of CVOR experience, including adult open heart surgeries and endovascular procedures
• Experience with adult open heart cases, including TAVR, AAA, TEVAR, EVAR, and vascular surgeries
• Proficiency with OR equipment such as microscopes, robotic systems, and hybrid surgical tools
• Ability to work rotating call and weekends as required
• Basic knowledge of Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Trauma experience in OR nursing or tech roles
• Vascular surgery experience including procedures like fistula creation and endarterectomy
• Flexibility to work in various OR environments and assist with new or developing protocols
