• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Medical Surgical unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and response to treatment using Medi tech documentation system
• Assist with post-operative procedures including ostomy management, NGT placement, Foley catheter maintenance, and wound care
• Administer medications, including blood products and nutritional support such as TPN and G/J tubes
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Kansas or an appropriate compact state
• BLS certification required
• Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, preferably in a high-paced environment
• Knowledge of post-operative care procedures and equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ostomy management, central line care, and wound therapy
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Ability to adapt to floating to various units including telemetry, ortho/neuro, and med/tele units

Note:
This position requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience, and shifts are night hours with a 12-hour schedule. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high patient acuity.
