Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients on a busy orthopedic and spine specialty unit
• Monitor patient condition and coordinate with multidisciplinary team using advanced communication tools
• Administer treatments, wound care, and medication as prescribed
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Assist with procedures such as traction, external fixators, and other orthopedic interventions

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas nursing license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years acute care hospital experience, preferably on med/surg or telemetry units
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Certification or related specialty training
• Experience working in a Level 2 trauma center
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records and mobile communication tools
