Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage intraoperative equipment during surgeries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient status.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards throughout all cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent CVOR Tech/SA experience prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio license, or applicable compact license for eligible starts.
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and perform safeMedicate assessments; acceptable scores required during orientation.
• Recent references from a supervisor, ANM, or director in the CVOR specialty.
• Completion of all certifications, including active licenses, with no pending items.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful passing of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate with a maximum of two attempts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital or surgical setting with cardiovascular cases.
• Knowledge of intraoperative procedures and equipment management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
