Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 4x10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery in the PACU setting.
• Monitor vital signs, manage patient comfort, and assess recovery progress.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols, including trauma and telemetry standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during recovery.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state or compact nursing license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum experience with trauma, telemetry, vents, and Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Ability to work 10-hour night shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma experience.
• Telemetry and vent management experience.
• Previous PACU or post-anesthesia care experience.

Additional Notes

• All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately upon signing contract; responsiveness is critical.
• Candidates outside Ohio within driving distance will be required to drive to fingerprinting locations promptly.
• References from leadership are required, including at least one managerial reference.
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at submission and built into the contract.
• Locals are accepted at the same rate.
• Candidates must submit within the strict compliance deadline on Tuesday prior to start.
