• Full-time, day shifts (4x10 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Monitor and manage patients with invasive monitoring devices, artificial airways, and vasoactive medications.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias and other critical conditions.
• Administer blood products, perform phlebotomy, and start IVs.
• Care for ventilated patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery.
• Float within scope to meet hospital needs as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license (in hand at time of submission; Missouri or compact license preferred).
• At least 2-3 years of ICU experience, specifically Level 1 ICU or critical care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical care experience in a hospital setting with invasive monitoring, trauma, or post-op recovery.
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia management, blood product administration, and IV start techniques.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
• Recovery experience for neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, or transplant cases.
• Ability to adapt to rotating start times and night shift learning, if applicable.
