• Surgical Technician - OR
Location
• Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment, days shift, 13-week duration
Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgical teams in the operating room during various procedures including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma surgeries
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and surgical instruments
• Ensure all procedures are performed adhering to hospital policies and safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to support efficient surgical operations
• Document procedures accurately within hospital documentation systems
Required Qualifications
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in OR settings
• Proven skills in handling multiple service line procedures (general, GYN, neuro, ortho, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to float to other departments as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in high-volume hospital settings
• Familiarity with advanced surgical equipment and technology
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
