Full-time, 4 days per week, Day shift (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM), onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology and special procedures including vascular studies, neuro interventions, biopsies, drainages, and vascular access.
- Operate Siemens and Phillips imaging equipment, including Acuson, and ensure proper imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and safety during complex neuro and body procedures, including stroke interventions and angiograms.
- Follow all protocol standards for contrast administration and radiation safety; manage PACS and imaging documentation.
- Participate in hospital orientation and mandatory training sessions; maintain compliance with travel and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and procedural success.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience, including neuro and vascular procedures; experience on Siemens and Phillips equipment required.
- Valid NC or Compact licensed RT or Radiologic Technologist, in-hand at start date.
- BLS certification required; ARRTP preferred.
- Proven experience with IR procedures such as stents, angioplasty, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and venous access.
- Experience with PACS systems and contrast administration for inpatient hospital settings.
- Ability to work 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, with a flexible schedule including weekends and call rotations.
Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience
- ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
- EPIC and Visage experience are a plus.
- Experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, or community hospital settings.
- Familiarity with acute neuro interventions, ablations, and other advanced IR procedures.

Note:
Candidates must be fully available for orientation, which is conducted daily during the first week. Travel compliance testing and documentation must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the hospital as needed and willing to work on different units. RTO requests over 7 days require facility approval, and no RTO is permitted during the first week. Candidate must have all certifications in hand at start and provide all references promptly.
