Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT.
• Prepare and monitor access sites and ensure sterile technique during procedures.
• Manage and stock supplies for the interventional radiology suite.
• Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and room preparation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety and isolation protocols.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.
• ARRT Radiology certification (ARRT R).
• BLS certification.
• Experience with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and managing invasive procedures.
• Ability to monitor patient status and recognize emergency situations.
• Knowledge of equipment setup and sterile technique.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT VI certification or PACS experience.
• Skills with TIPS, GE Innova IGS, Siemens systems, and ultrasound.
• Ability to perform EKG lead placement and recognize arrhythmias.
• Experience with vascular closure systems and advanced imaging modalities.
