Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for medical-surgical patients, including those with oncology history.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, and IV infusions.
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage surgical drains, chest tubes, and access ports.
• Implement and follow isolation precautions and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to similar inpatient units or alternative care locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or valid Compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient medical-surgical experience.
• Certification in Oncology (ONC) required; ability to administer chemotherapy preferred.
• Experience with colostomy care, port access, blood product administration, and managing PICC lines.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified in CPI.
• Charge nurse experience.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
