Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment, days shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Utilize therapy equipment to assess and improve patient functional abilities.
• Perform 1:1 therapy sessions according to individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress using the Meditech documentation system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in an acute care, skilled nursing facility, or inpatient rehab setting.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Efficient time management and the ability to adapt to a floating policy with primary assignment in an inpatient rehab unit.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with therapy equipment.
• Ability to incorporate weekend work into a 5-day workweek is a plus.
• Previous experience working with a new, fully equipped inpatient rehab unit.
