- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for surgical flap and spinal cord injury patients on a busy medical surgical floor.
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and manage wound care, bowel programs, and light burn care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow unit policies and guidelines, maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Adapt to high patient acuity and busy floor environment, supporting patient needs efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Prior Med/Surg experience (minimum 2 years)
- Experience with spinal cord injury or wound care preferred
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy Unit
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with spinal cord injury patients
- Familiarity with burn care and surgical interventions
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring systems
