- Travel, 13-week assignment, Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, adhering to hospital protocols and patient care standards.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately using the hospital's documentation system.
- Make personal connections with patients using the AIDET communication approach, bedside shift reports, and hourly rounding.
- Perform procedures including IVs, Foley catheters, wound care, post-op care, trach care, NG, and feeding tubes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Missouri RN license
- BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of acute care experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Strong patient communication and bedside manner
