Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 13-week contract, nights shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide labor and postpartum care in a critical access hospital with approximately 25 beds.
• Support obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with a small team, typically two nurses per shift, to deliver quality care.
• Follow established protocols using Cerner EMR systems.
• Assist with approximately 300 deliveries annually, with OB nurses managing postpartum patients when needed.
• Communicate and coordinate patient care effectively during your shift.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of obstetric nursing experience.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Current nursing license for Washington state.
• Ability to handle labor and postpartum patients independently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a Level IV trauma or critical access hospital.
• Travel nursing experience welcomed, first-time travelers accepted.
• Knowledge of Cerner EMR system.
