Full-time, 13-week contract, nights shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor and postpartum care in a critical access hospital with approximately 25 beds.
- Support obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with a small team, typically two nurses per shift, to deliver quality care.
- Follow established protocols using Cerner EMR systems.
- Assist with approximately 300 deliveries annually, with OB nurses managing postpartum patients when needed.
- Communicate and coordinate patient care effectively during your shift.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of obstetric nursing experience.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Current nursing license for Washington state.
- Ability to handle labor and postpartum patients independently.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a Level IV trauma or critical access hospital.
- Travel nursing experience welcomed, first-time travelers accepted.
- Knowledge of Cerner EMR system.
