Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures for various patient diagnoses.
- Operate GE and Phillips imaging equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining patient safety and comfort during scans.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Adhere to protocols for patient care, safety, and documentation.
- Complete procedures within scheduled timeframes, handling 80-100 scans daily.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Virginia State license for CT Technologists.
- ARRT-CT certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
- Current CT registry and experience with GE or Phillips equipment.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with GE and Phillips CT scanners.
- Knowledge of procedures such as ABD, PEL, biopsies, heads, spines, brains, chest, and CT angiograms (CTA).
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
