Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to laboring patients in a hospital setting.
• Support patient-centered birth experiences with a focus on vaginal birth promotion and patient preferences.
• Assist with procedures including circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, and nitrous oxide use.
• Maintain documentation using CPN and Meditech systems.
• Collaborate within a team that includes unit secretaries, scrub techs, CRNAs, midwives, and on-call OBGYNs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety, and dress code standards (hot pink and black uniform).

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring.
• At least 2+ years of labor and delivery experience.
• Ability to support patient choices and promote safe, supportive labor environments.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with Spinning Babies techniques.
• Knowledge of STABLE protocol.
• Experience with procedures such as IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, postpartum hemorrhage management, and using JADA system.
• Ability to float to postpartum or other departments as needed.
