• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
• Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel, night shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care for IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, including patients with trachs, chest tubes, and cardiac drips
• Monitor and assess stable vented patients and those with trachs
• Perform procedures such as wound dressing changes and trach care
• Use EMR system for documentation and patient management, primarily Cerner
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Current RN license applicable in North Carolina
• Experience working with trachs and cardiac drips
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and clinical competence
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR system
• Experience in med-surg, progressive care, or similar units
