Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative needs
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure aseptic conditions and smooth workflow
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including radiation safety and infection control
Required Qualifications
- Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Radiation badge (must be provided by the agency)
- Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital with a 300+ bed capacity
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
- Prior experience with trauma level facilities (not required)
