Location
• Dallas, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shifts, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in a hospital's main operating room and outpatient surgical suites for various surgical procedures
• Assist with perioperative patient care, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including anesthesia techs, CSTs, and surgeons, to facilitate smooth operations
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, including robotic surgical systems and other advanced devices
• Assist in maintaining compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as required
Required Qualifications
• Valid registered nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years OR experience, including general surgery
• Robotic surgery experience (e.g., DaVinci, Mako, Rosa)
• BLS certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Neuro surgery or transplant experience
• Experience with a variety of surgical procedures such as gynecology, urology, orthopedics (excluding spine), plastics, and pediatric surgeries
