• Tech - Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
Location

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, on-site, days shift (3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift)
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, analyze, and document patient information to determine individualized testing procedures in collaboration with physicians and clinical protocols
• Prepare, calibrate, and operate sleep study equipment, including electrode and sensor placement, to ensure optimal signal quality
• Perform and monitor polysomnographic procedures such as sleep studies, PAP titrations, and other diagnostic tests, ensuring data integrity and patient safety
• Score sleep and clinical events following professional guidelines and generate comprehensive reports for clinical interpretation
• Provide age-specific patient care, assisting with testing, education, and therapeutic interventions when necessary
• Maintain equipment, ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards, and keep accurate records and documentation
Required Qualifications
• Successful completion of a recognized polysomnography training program or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
• Valid certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.P.S.G.T) or equivalent
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with sleep testing procedures and equipment calibration
• Knowledge of patient safety protocols and data scoring standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with NOX sleep software is a plus
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical sleep lab environment
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule, including holidays and potential additional nights or weekends
