Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour day shifts, with holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for cardiac and neuro patients
• Monitor patient vital signs, assist with procedures, and manage patient needs within scope of practice
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including on-call when scheduled
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage in sister units or facilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Compact nursing license, or license in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (preferably 2 years), with cardiac and neuro experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with holiday rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in CVICU or critical care settings
• Strong neuro and cardiac patient care skills
• Experience with Epic charting system or similar EMR software
