Key Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care in a high-capacity acute care hospital setting.
• Scrub independently in multiple service lines including endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, and robotic specialties.
• Function as both scrub and circulator to meet surgical team needs.
• Cover call shifts (weeknights and weekends) as scheduled, with flexibility to float within scope between facilities.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to surgeon preferences during procedures.
• Maintain competency in cardiac OR procedures with rapid independence post-orientation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license with appropriate state licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to scrub independently in multiple service lines.
• Strong cardiac OR competency and circulator/scrub skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in endovascular/hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, ortho, or robotic surgical specialties.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively as both scrub and circulator.
• Flexibility to float between facilities within a 75-mile radius.

Additional Details

• Work shift begins at 0645, ending at 1715, with scheduled call shifts during weeknights and weekends.
• Call responsibilities include weeknights (1715-0630) and weekends (0630-0630), averaging 4-5 weeknights and 2-3 weekends within a 6-week schedule.
• Primary work location is Belleville, IL, with potential to float to Shiloh campus.
• No local candidates accepted; must be willing to commute within 75 miles.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week; hospital parking is free.
