• Full-time, temp-to-hire, night shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit in a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital setting.
• Float to Med Surg floors across main hospital facilities, including Ashley River Tower, ensuring coverage as needed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including charting with EPIC, and maintain safe patient ratios which may vary by unit.
• Participate in holiday rotations and on-call duties when required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with license, certification, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical surgical nursing experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability to work night shifts and accommodate a flexible schedule with management approval.
• Must pass hospital-specific clinical requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment.
• Familiarity with the EPIC charting system.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Ability to float to different units and adapt to varying patient needs.
