Schedule / Job Type
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, acute care inpatient unit
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for acute medical-surgical cases
- Monitor and assess patient condition, administer medications, and document care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Current BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in oncology units or specialized inpatient settings
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
