- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for individuals with kidney-related conditions in a 36-bed renal unit.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility in assignments.
- Support patients through various stages of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
- Adhere to clinical best practices, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Registered Nurse license for the state of Alabama or a Compact license (No temp licenses accepted).
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; consideration given to candidates with 18 months of experience working under a professional license in a similar specialty.
- At least 1 year of experience in renal or telemedicine nursing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for patients with kidney-related conditions, including dialysis.
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Ability to float between various hospital units and adapt quickly.
