Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards and healthcare practices
- Support physicians with patient care, examinations, and treatment procedures
- Assist in patient education and coordinate care with patients, families, and caregivers
- Monitor patient responses to medications and treatments, ensuring safety and comfort
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, demonstrating calm and confident decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewal every two years, meeting American Heart Association standards
- Knowledge of nursing principles, medical procedures, and medical terminology
- Ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and react appropriately in urgent situations
- Ability to administer medications, utilize medical equipment, and analyze patient needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting
- Basic understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
- Familiarity with safety protocols and office procedures
