Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a high-acuity surgical and trauma floor.
• Manage patients with complex conditions, including spinal, neuro, trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient progress and treatments accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, including shift-specific responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Active Nursys license verification.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or trauma setting.
• Ability to work various shifts with no block scheduling restrictions.
• Strong clinical skills for high-acuity patient care.
• Work history/resume with no gaps longer than 60 days, including skills checklist and references.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to load and update demographic information and certification details in profiles.
• Experience caring for trauma, neuro, and spinal patients.
