Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Thornton, CO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Travel - Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on a state-of-the-art telemetry unit, including post-op recovery and cardiac monitoring.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to acute changes using telemetry systems and EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes and safety.
• Assist with various procedures such as cath lab interventions, PCI, pacemaker placements, ablations, and other cardiac or surgical procedures.
• Support an environment of teamwork and patient-centered care, adapting to a high patient turnover.
• Follow unit policies and adhere to safety protocols including ACLS, NIH, and BLS certifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Colorado.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
• Prior telemetry or cardiac step-down experience.
• Ability to manage post-op post-cath and cardiac drips (non-titrating, e.g., heparin).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with surgical recovery and post-procedure monitoring.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• Strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly personality suited for a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
