X-ray/Radiologic Technologist
Location: Knoxville, TN
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts (3x12 hours) — 19:00 to 07:00, nightly
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment in a high-volume, large level I trauma hospital
- Perform radiologic procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy imaging
- Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging to assist medical teams in diagnosis and treatment
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain patient care standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across various departments, including operating rooms and emergency services
- Follow intricate schedule requirements, including a 5 on, 2 off cycle, with weekend shifts, respecting holiday work expectations
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 1 year of OR radiology experience in a hospital setting
- Extensive OR experience specific to large volume hospitals with GE or Siemens X-ray equipment
- Ability to work scheduled night shifts and weekends
- Valid license to practice radiologic technology in Tennessee (or pending license accepted)
- Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs (e.g., ED, inpatient, outpatient, OR, portable imaging)
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience performing radiology procedures in trauma centers or emergency settings
- Familiarity with hospital environments and large volume imaging workflows
