Key Responsibilities

• Assist during interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, including LHC/RHC, PFO closure, and other specialized interventions.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and procedural equipment such as Philips Xper FD20/FD10, Shockwave, and Penumbra systems.
• Support interventional cardiology team with patient preparation, procedure setup, and post-procedure care.
• Adhere to safety and protocol guidelines, including scrubbing in hospital-issued scrubs and dress code requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems such as PAC’s Merge and Meditech.
• Participate in on-call shifts including weekends, providing flexible availability as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a cath lab setting.
• RCIS, RCES, or RT license preferred, with proven ability to assist in interventional procedures.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as an IR or EP tech.
• Familiarity with procedures involving Shockwave, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and other advanced cardiac technologies.
• Strong understanding of cardiac intervention protocols and equipment.
